USB Dongle not working

I just bought myself a Asus N53 300MB usb dongle. However, its status is;



"Cable Unplugged"

Either the cable for 802.11 n WLAN is not plugged in or the device at the other end is not responding.



I've installed the drivers for the dongle but I'm not sure how to work the dongle. Any help?
