Just recently, March 2010, I had upgraded my MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo to 500GB Hitachi hard drive, 2GB RAM and Snow Leopard. Everything has worked smoothly until Monday when during just facebook browsing my system froze. I tried to force quit without success, so I just shut it off. When I tried to restart it it would no boot up and I heard the clicking sound from the hard drive. So when my husband came home he replaced the new hard drive with the old and I restored my latest backup in time machine. Everything was just fine for about an hour and then I started getting these pesky notices, usually 5 at the time, that the USB is drawing too much power even though nothing is connected to the USB ports. I tried to resetting PRAM and SMC, that did not help. I also did hardware check, everything checked out ok. Then I did a complete system restart from the original DVD's, still same problem.

Does anyone know what this could be? Should I just take it to Apple?
Please help!
