USB Drive opens iPhoto automatically

Everytime I pop in my USB drive, iPhoto opens.. (of course, because it wants to import pictures. Which might not be what I want to do)
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Yes.

 -> System Preferences -> CDs & DVDs -> When you insert a picture CD -> [Ignore]

Also if you have a folder named DCIM on the flash drive, the Mac may be treating it like a digital camera. To prevent iPhoto and Image Capture from launching if that is the case you need to go to Image Capture preferences and change the option for "When a camera is connected, open:" to No Application.
