Hello,
Our school recently reimaged our Macbooks as Dual-Boot with Bootcamp and MacOS Tiger. However we have a problem with USB devices. If someone puts in a USB thumbdrive the admin account has to install drivers.
This isn't a huge problem, except that the drivers have to be reinstalled for each device and for each USB port. So if we setup mice for USB port 1, we have to do it for USB port 2 as well. Also since many of our kids use their USB drives to take work at home it's a pain for teachers to use the admin login to install the drivers for USB drives as each usb drive seems to need a SEPARATE driver.
Any ideas what's going wrong and how to fix it?
