I'm using a Mac mini running OSX 10.5.8. I was using it moments ago before I ran software update. And I imported photos from my SD without any problem. Then I updated the Mac mini with some essential update just for Mac mini (don't really remember what it was called EEID? maybe?). My Mac rebooted and now it can't read my Kingston USB SD card Reader. I haven't switched the card from before. Plugged it in, doesn't read. Using the same card, I tried a different brand of USB SD card reader, still didn't work. I switched cards, and it still didn't read. I thought maybe the cards were locked, but I checked and they weren't.

I tried a Kingston Data Traveler USB Drive, and it read no problem.

Any solutions?
