Hi everyone,

my iPhone used to work great when plugged via USB in my Golf VII, but since updating to iOS 11 it's going crazy... the phone is recognised, but after a second I get "USB error" and it disconnects/stops charging/playing music. CarPlay also doesn't work, it doesn't even list my car in the menu...
I've tried the original Apple cable as well as a 3rd party cable, tried rebooting my phone, the car's media system... nothing helped.

Does anyone experience the same? And maybe found a solution? It's so annoying because iOS 11 drains the battery like crazy and I can't recharge it in the car :/

Thanks in advance!

Had a similar issues. Changed the USB cable and it worked fine. Give that a try...
