usb flash drive won't mount?

any reason a usb flash drive (sony USM2GH) won't mount in OS X 10.4.10?




i removed the "expander software", reformatted it with sony's own reformat app, even checked Disk Utility (doesn't even show up there)

Sony's website says it supports "Mac OS10.1～10.4.7" but doesn't explicitly say 10.4.10...
