Hi,
This morning none of my 3 USB flash drives would mount in Finder. Yesterday I used Onyx for maintenance and cleaning, which is the only thing I can think of being out of the ordinary.
The discs are greyed out in Disc Utility, but can be erased. But no change after erasing it to MS-DOS FAT 32 format. They work in Windows after the formatting (as they always have). When erasing them to HFS+ format they mount nicely in Finder, but this is not an option since I need them to work with Windows as well.
First Aid in Disc Utility makes no difference.
When using X11 he discs don't show up in /Volumes.
System Profiler recognizes them as MS-DOS FAT32 and writable (but no Mount Point available).
I have tried all my MacBookPro2,1 17'' 2.33 GHz 3 GB USB ports.
I have read posts on the internet, without luck, so now I'm turning to you
Thanks,
L
