I've been trying to copy large .mkv video files to my 8GB USB flash drive so I can plug it into my Samsung HDTV and watch. For some reason, my TV - a Samsung Series 630 (model # LN40C630) does not allow me to view the files on the flash drive when the drive itself is formatted Mac OS X Extended (journaled or not). I can't just format the USB drive to the MS-DOS format because of the 4GB file size limit, since most of my files are 4.4GB. Does anyone know if there is another format I can try that will be compatible? I'd rather not waste my time formatting and reformatting the flash drive until I get it right. Thanks for the help!

You're a genius, worked like a charm. I had to go through the whole process of getting my computer to read and write to an NTFS drive, but it's running fine. Thanks!
