USB harddrive won't Mount

Hello,

I have a usb harddrive that use for my macs a Mac pro and a Macbook i plug it into my macbook and it mounts right away but when i plug it into my mac pro it won't mount until i restart the system...I have Google this problem and have no answer to why it is happening. I am hoping someone on here might be able to solve my problem.

It seems to be a "feature" of Leopard - and as you have noticed a restart seems to be the only solution that really works. Sometimes if you disconnect and connect the USB device it does mount - but not always.
