Hey everyone,

I've heard from numerous sources (e.g. here) that it is possible to run a USB headset over the iPad USB Camera Connection Lightning Adapter Cable Whatever Thing.
Does anyone have experiences with that and can tell me if USB headsets like the Logitech G35 that I have, which doesn't require a driver on OS X, actually work on new iPads – especially given the transition from 30-pin to Lightning? (As far as I can see, most of my sources refer to the old 30-pin)
I'd try it, but I don't want to just shell out $29 like that for an adapter I can't use.

Thank you all in advance!

Okay, I just tried it and it works (Logitech G35, iPad Air 2, iOS 8.1) – not only headphones but also the microphone. Hope this helps someone who comes across the same issue as me. I think it should also work with other headsets that don't require a driver on a computer. Have a good day everyone!
