I know, the topic doesn't sound too thrilling. Nor does it sound like there's much to discuss.

However!

I was wondering what USB hub you guys might recommend for use with an iMac - specifically, one that continues the Mac ethos if you will. Something smart but stylish, that doesn't look a mess, something that would earn its place with good looks on my iMac's base?

Interested in both powered and non-powered suggestions!

Any USB hub that has USB 2.0 and it's own power supply will fit the bill. There are no differences otherwise, short of port numbers and looks.
 
moshi make the ilynx, FW and USB hub, self powered mumbo jumbo, by taking power from FW as well, looks fantastic with my 24" LED screen, amazon have them, pricey but looks the part
