I'm looking to get a USB hub for my mac mini so I can easier connect memory sticks, iPhone/ipad and my apple superdrive. My mac mini is stored in my desk's cabinet (so its hidden). I would like the hub to have at least 2-3ft of cord so it can sit on top of my desk.

It's a new mac mini so i believe it supports usb 3.0

Any ideas would be great. Thank you :)

Amazon has a good selection. Just ensure it comes with a decently powerful power supply.

I maybe wrong, but I think the super drive requires more power than your average USB port can give and that the ports on supported macs give more power for this reason.

I have one of these and it works great... it comes with a iPhone/iPad charging port... I drive an external bluray player drive off one of the other ports.
