USB issues with MBP that has T2 chip

Hi, I have two USB Type C to USB 3 adapters. One from Apple and the other from Nonda. I use them with my MBP 16" 2019. It seems to me that under Windows 10 and Linux (a virtual machine under MacOS) sometimes USB devices are not recognizable or get messed up. Is it due to the T2 chip, driver issues under Windows 10/Linux, or other issues?
