USB Keyboard just randomly stopped working.

So I have a basic apple keyboard that i plug into my macbook pro. It has worked completely fine until now. Got home from school when to use it and it simply just doesn't work. Hasn't been touched since i used it, and it worked, last night.

Tried switching USB ports, dont know what else to do. Its just a pain in the ass having to take stuff in and exchange items I really hope I dont have to.

Stupid question but did you try rebooting your computer?

I found many of my USB annoyances are resolved with a reboot.
