Hey guys,

is it possible to use a usb mouse with the ipad pro? (with the help of a usb c hub)

I wanted to use my logitech mx518 mouse for gaming - the magic mouse connected via bluetooth sucks for gaming ... so I am just asking myself if I can plug in any usb mouse via a usb c hub ?!

Yes you can, no problem.
I’m using my Apple Mighty Mouse with USB A cable via both USB C hub or a USB A on the go converter.
Bear in mind a USB C hub also drain your iPad Pro’s battery quite faster. Hence I prefer using the USB on the go converter.

What game are you playing with the mouse by the way?

Thanks for your information

I am playing League of Legends via shadow tech. This is a streaming plattform which allows you to stream an high end windows 10 gaming pc on your ipad / apple tv / iphone / mac or any other device.

And that is really awesome. I donˋt wanna buy another device to just play a few games - I think to stream a whole gaming pc for a netflix price will be the future.

Ah that’s great, might give it a go too for myself.

One more thing, some people said the non Apple mouse might not perform as well on the iPadOS.
Scrolling might be less smooth but you can enable extra buttons function via accessibility.
