Any USB mouse can be used with macs. Also I'd suggest staying away from the Logitech "drivers" until they stop using hacks. I'd suggest using USB Overdrive or Steermouse instead (for the software). You can also just use it without any special drivers.

i ve never owned one of those but i ve heard they r pretty good, now microsoft mouses i knwo they r good...and work perfectly fine with mac.s

I've been using the latest Logitech Control Center in Leopard with no issues. I seem to be the only person on MacRumors that recommends using it as well. It has never given me any issues.

My mouse of choice is still the MX 310.

Some versions of LCC randomly install the hack called Ape (Application Extender). This app killed some 10.5 installs. There is no reason for a driver to use such an absurd hack. Add to that the uninstaller they provide doesn't remove the hack that they didn't even tell you they were installing. I honestly don't know how they got away with such a stupid move.

The latest version no longer uses Application Enhancer.
