So I just got the G7 mouse and needed third party drivers to make it work. I found an old thread that pointed me to USB Overdrive and after a bit of trouble I got it working. I still haven't got more then the basics to be programmable, but that's besides the point. I was tired of waiting 10 seconds every time I went into the USB Overdrive preference to reconfigure the mouse, so I got stupid and opted to try out a Seri** # (please don't ban me again :D )and got this. It really freaked me out and I am definitely not going to trust these #s anymore.
So my conclusion of the story is, I had heard rumors of companies knowing about who pirated their software, but this is proof! Don't take the chance, next time it could be a less understanding company that will actually prosecute!
