I purchased a 4 port USB 3.0 PCIe card for my 5,1.

I have installed it, and it is showing in the system report (pic attached)

I have attached some external drives, and they do not show. The ones which have an indicator, light up so they are drawing power, but nothing is working in Mac Os

any idea?

See #8 for explanation.
See #1 for a list of suggestions. I have Gigabyte GC-TITAN RIDGE and GC-ALPINE RIDGE, ASUS ThunderboltEX 4, and CalDigit FASTA-6GU3 Plus in my MacPro3,1. The Thunderbolt cards have the best USB 3.1 gen 2 (10 Gbps) performance (I'm not using the Thunderbolt functionality except for DisplayPort to Thunderbolt conversion). I also have an ASMedia ASM3242 but I don't have a driver or patch for it.
