USB port broken?

Alright, I got a 17" MacBook Pro (early 2008), and the USB port on the right side of the laptop doesnt work anymore. I tried plugging in my iPod, my printer, the mouse receiver, everything, nothing works. I was wondering if anyone else here has had that problem happen to them
