USB port has power, but no data.

I have just found that the last USB port on my iMac isn't working, it has power as I can charge my iPhone off it, but it has no data as it dosn't see any device plugged in. Is there anything I could try in software to attempt to fix it before I call Apple?

The simple things to try would be restarting the computer (actually, I'd shut it all the way down, unplug it from the wall, wait a minute, then plug it back in and reboot), resetting PRAM, and resetting the SMC. If none of those help, time to call Apple.

Sorry to ask the obvious but ...does the iPhone work on a different port? Does anything else work off the last port?

Thanks, resetting the PRAM fixed it.
