USB port issue

After booting my Mac Mini the keyboard doesn't work until I unplug it and plug it in again. It's NOT LOOSE, it just doesn't see the keyboard after boot until I plug it in again.

Have you tried another USB port?

Have you tried the keyboard in another computer?

A tiny bit of dust in just the right spot in a USB port can be the culprit. Answers to those 2 questions could rule out many other possibilities.

I've tried it in a Winblows, works fine. It's strange. I also got a pipe cleaner w. some rubbing alcohol and hit the contacts. Still does it. Next I might try some holy water! lol Thanks for the response.

I meant another USB port on your Mini. That would at last rule out one bad port.

Have you tried the keyboard with another Mac just to be sure it works with any Mac?
