I have a macbook pro 13" 2012 running the latest software but today i noticed one of the USB's are not working properly. The bottom USB port (closer to the trackpad side) works properly when I plug in my USB memory stick or the nano receiver for my logitec m195 wireless mouse. The top port on the other hand works just fine with the memory stick but does not work with the nano receiver for the mouse.
I called apple and did all of the resets (those pram etc) and then it started working then when I restarted it stopped working and when I restated it again it started working again. It cant be the mouse (all drivers are up to date and it works with one port)
whats the issue? apple said to bring it into the store but thats a long trip so I want to find the solution at home.
