USB ports on 11" MacBook Air

Hi,

Does anyone notice the right hand side USB port is less responsive than the left? Or do I have a right side faulty USB port?

What does "responsive" mean?

I tried 2 USB thumb drives.

The first one can only be read from the left side USB port. The second one can be read by both ports. But the powerpoint file read from the right USB port takes substantially longer to open than the left port.

Something is wrong?
