USB ports on external display

Hello. I got a MacBook Air M2 and plan on purchasing this monitor:

My question is, if I plug in external USB devices like a HD and wireless keyboard and mouse dongle to the monitors USB ports, whilst having it connected to my MBA via USBC, will the MacBook detect the USB devices or do I need to connect the devices directly to the MBA?

It´s a hub, it should detect all devices just fine
