USB ports stopped working.

After updating to El Capitan 10.11.4, my USB ports stopped working. My front USB port would power up my External Hard drive, but would never show up under Devices. Now my other USB Port is having the same issue. It automatically puts my WD Passport Ultra to sleep. However, when I plug it in to another Mac, it runs fine. IMO, I feel like I have tried everything. I have tried SMC,PRAM resets. I have went into my Battery Settings and made sure to uncheck put my hard drive to sleep. I have looked at Disk Utility and USB and it does not show up. I just recently factory reset my Mac and still no luck. I am not sure what else to try. I have ran a diagnostics to see if it would tell me if it was a hard ware issue, but it said everything was fine. I don't have access to a Apple Store for a more months so any DIY type fixes would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jon
