My powerbook's usb ports work on & off. Doesn't matter if it's an thumb drive or an western digital external hardrive (that must be plugged in). What happens when I plug anything in the usb port is if it doesn't pick up the device, the volume stops working. What would cause the usb ports to work on & off? Would a powered usb hub correct my issue?
