USB printers and ports

Hello,

Ok I just bought my first Mac ever (Dual 2Ghz G5) Quick question:

I installed my Epson 2200 Stylus printer on my Mac on USB. It seems to print fine, so far. One thing; if I move the USB cable from the top port to the bottom port, will it still work? In other words, do I have to keep the USB cable always on the top port or can I switch it to another USB port without having conflicts?

It should work on any USB port.

Seem to have a little problem. I was trying to try the borderless print option in Preview, Text Edit, and Safari and other programs, but whenever I select any borderless print option the program crashes. I usually do my photo printing in Photoshop, but I still have to get the graphics applications I use, and was just playing with print settings on the programs that came with the Mac. Any ideas to why programs crash when I select the borderless option?
