Hey guys,

So the time has come where I need more USB connectivity... And so I was wondering how effective USB splitters are.. I know this may seem as a trivial question, but I'm concerned. If I remember correctly, the 2 ports on the Wired Apple Keyboard aren't powerful enough to support a lot of the bigger peripherals. Is this the case with USB splitters? Or can they really support all the big things (dSLR, external HD, USB recording interface)? Although the HD will probably be going in the FW port...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Any AC powered USB hub will do, the one on amazon looks good. You shouldn't have to pay more than $20 for something that will do the job, anything more is just frills.

Thanks a lot guys! Let the era of too-many-cables-on-desk begin! :D
