USB Stick - I haven't got permission...?

Sometimes when I insert a USB stick, there are times when I cannot copy files to it. :s
It says I have only read permission.

Even sometimes on one of internal drives, it sometimes asks me to enter my administrator password.
Anyone got any ideas on why I don't seem to have full read/write permissions sometimes??
