USB switches for 2016 MBP

Is anyone using a USB switch with their 2016 MBP without issues? I've been using an iogear, which sometimes drops the connection. I've also got a sabrent USB audio adapter plugged into it, and once in a while it'll stop working and emit a high-pitched sound. Unfortunately, Iogear says they don't suppport the use of any USB adaptors.
