Help, folks, can anyone of you double-check this for me.

I am using iPhone 4S Black 16 GB + MacBook Air 13" 128 GB.

I can tether using wifi; using USB: it only works when I plug the cable into the left USB port (which is near the MagSafe). The right USB does not seem to work, but iTunes and iPhoto recognise the iPhone. I tried to reset network settings on the iPhone and MacBook Air, but the problem is unsolved. Does it mean that the right USB port is partially damaged or just a software issue?

I have already updated every software needed for Lion, and Jesus, I just reinstalled a fresh new copy of Lion just 1 month ago.

Btw, do any of you folks realise a terrible lag particularly with Safari when the laptop gets hot? Clearing the cache, resetting safari and reopening the program are only temporary solutions as it seems. I am typing these lines and getting vex cos it lags like hell :D.
