USB Tethering

I have my iPhone's internet tethering on but when I plug it into my mac Via USB nothing happens. It works fine over WIFI.

Any suggestions to fix this?

Yes normal Personal hotspot.

isn't there two separate options, one for wifi/bluetooth and one for usb?

In your control panel internet settings do you see the modem pop up? It might be disabled. What version of OSX / macbook model do you have?

It might have to do with either settings or drivers on your mac.
It should work right away as long as you got the latest itunes version installed on your computer.
