Ok here it goes...driving me mad
I have 2 Hewlett Packard USB memory sticks, 32gb and 8gb (v195b?), which do not appear to register with my MBP running Mountain Lion (Upgraded fro Lion). They work fine on a Windows PC, they work on other MBP (newer native Mountain Lion?), but not on my mates mac (who also upgraded from Lion)
They dont appear in disk utility, but they do appear when plugged into the back of my Time Capsule. I can write to them as normal when in the back of the TC, but as soon as I plug them back directly into my MBP, nothing. Other USB drives work fine. I have formatted them to all styles (on other PC's/MACS that recognise them). Being in the back of the TC, so does not appear in Disk utility (or as a drive in finder).
Its just over a year old (Aug 2011)
Anyone any ideas? The bit with the time capsule really confuses me!
