Hi, I need an ethernet adapter for our work retina MBP so I can access my development environment. I see that his one from Monoprice is recommended but can anyone recommend one available in the UK? I don't particularly want to shell out for the Apple one.

Looking on eBay, this one looks very similar:

Does anyone have any experience with something like this with Mountain Lion? I'm concerned about drivers and OS compatibility.

Thanks.

In all honestly - a USB ethernet adapter is around £12-15. Apple's thunderbolt one is an extra £10.

I know which I'd pick!

I don't know about this one, but the Apple one available before the TB version was available works fine. Having said that, if the network is fast I would consider the TB version to be a better option
