Hi all,

I'm looking for a good USB to HDMI adapter. I will be getting a regular Macbook Pro and I have a need for two screens. The problem is that the MBP only has one video out port, unless I buy the Apple monitors which I don't want to do. So does anybody have/know of any good USB to HDMI adapters? I know that the frame rates and such won't be that great but I would like it to be as good as possible. Also, the new Macbook Pro does have USB3, which would improve the performance of such an adapter compatible with USB3.

Thanks!

DisplayLink doesn't have a driver for their USB3-compatible devices yet. Still, their USB2 ones are decent. Nothing to get excited about, but if you need a second external display for a computer that doesn't support them natively, it's your best option.
