Thinking of getting Flash drive to store Lion, how big is the dmg?

Would a 4 gig flash be good, or should I go for 8?

Reason being, I'm trying to reduce DVD's, not to mention it's faster.

Of course, I only though of this AFTER I Burt the disc and installed Lion

I think the install app is 3.75 gigs. A 4gig stick should be fine.

You will need an 8Gb stick, I tried it on my 4Gb one was told it wasn't big enough. Went on my 16Gb one though fine.

Won't fit on a 4GB thumb so I just restored it (InstallESD.dmg) to a 6gb partition on a USB hard drive (Passport). Worked great .....
