USB2 card in Quicksilver and sleep in OS9

I have a spare USB2 card from Belkin (F5U220) to add some much oomph to the USB ports on the QS. I note under OS9 that the system will not sleep with this card in situ. Are there any extensions knocking around that reenable sleep with this or any other unsupported PCI card under OS9?
