I have an OWC Mercury Elite Dual Pro that I want to run via eSata on my Mac Mini 2012. I am wondering what brand/model USB3.0 to Esata adapters people use that work on a Mac, and that they have good experience with speeds. My OWC enclosure (RAID 0 Stripe of two 3TB Barracudas) currently gets around 215MB/s read and write via my Lacie TB/eSata hub (which I want to put elsewhere) so I am hoping to get good speeds from a USB3.0 to eSata adapter that would be similar.

Any suggestions of quality adapters (that I am also hoping are sleek/small)?

Best USB3.0 to eSATA adapter so far

There is ONLY DATOptic U3eSATA adapter, that can support eSATA device with or without Port Multiplier.

It means you can use it with single drive eSATA or Multiple drive eSATA boxes

http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Support-Multiplier-Patent-Pending/dp/B005DCCMII

I test with SSD it transfers around 285MB/s
With 3.5" Seagate 7200.14 series I get about 135MB/s

Not too bad for less than $30.00 US device
