Is there a way to use a passcode for the voicemail?

I'd like the option to have to enter a passcode every time I want to hear my voicemail. My provider is T-Mobile.

T-Mobile supports Visual Voicemail for the iPhone. Is Visual Voicemail provisioned for your account?

That is not what he's asking.
He wants to password protect his voicemail so people that use the phone cannot click on that section and get access to his messages without further verification.
Answer is no on stock ios.
If you JB there's ways to do it.

Yup, exactly this. Darn, I'm surprised there's no way to set a password for the voicemail in iOS.

What about turning visual voicemail off? Can I do that?

There's not really a way to set any additional passcodes to any other apps or functions of the phone beside the main passcode on the phone.
To turn visual voicemail off you would have to call your carrier to disable it.
