I reserved an iPhone at the Apple store yesterday afternoon when the Premier site and their phone ordering systems weren't working. Just got a call from AT&T as I was on a list of people who tried to preorder yesterday but couldn't due to their system failure and got my order in today. Anyway, my boyfriend (who is on T-Mobile) really wants an iPhone 4 on launch day and I was wondering if I would be able to use my reservation to purchase an unsubsidized phone from Apple with my reservation? Has anyone done this with previous iPhones? I'm a launch day virgin and would like to be able to get my boyfriend the iPhone for half of what it will probably be going for on eBay but I'm not sure if that's even possible. I'm sure this is a dumb question but since I gave them my phone number and last four of the social, I figure they're expecting me to upgrade.
