My wife and I each have an iphone. We use Google for our email, and our calendars (we have 3 calendars, that we share), and our contacts.

When I go into my mac os, I set up GMAIL, and I am only seeing 1 of the 3 calendars. I know that on my iphone I did not select GMAIL, but I choose MS Exchange, and used m.google.com for the server, and that allowed me to see real time my 3 calendars that are shared.

How do I set this up on the mac? When I choose exchange setup over gmail, it says my xxxx@gmail.com is not a valid exchange email address.

You don't see all 3 calendars? This is interesting. I don't know the answer though. Once I got iCloud I just dropped Google calendar and iCloud calendar syncs all 4 of my calendars + a family calendar I shared with my wife like a champ.

If you set up the calendar as "Google" in iCal, then go to Preferences>Accounts>Delegation (tab) and the additional calendars should be there to select via checkbox.
