HomePod Use HomePod Speakerphone with CallKit (WhatsApp)

Apple's documentation doesn't mention anything about CallKit apps (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, etc) as being able to use with the speakerphone function.

According to iDownloadblog it should support it

But I haven't seen it being actually used by anyone. Can someone confirm this ?
