Can someone explain if or how iCloud works for people who travel outside the U.S. and *disable* data roaming?
Does disabling data roaming essentially disable iCloud, or does iCloud update/sync whenever the iPhone is connected to the internet via WiFi? I like being able to enter a note on my MBP and have it appear on the iPhone, or vice versa, but I don't want to pay $300/mo. for data roaming when I'm outside the country.
Also, a semi-related question: How well does iCloud handle different updates to the same apps or accounts? For example, if I update a note on my iPhone while *not* connected to the internet, and then I update that same note on my MBP, will iCloud recognize and keep/merge both updates, or will one or the other be overwritten the next time both devices are connected to the internet?
Thanks for all feedback.
