Use iPad Air with Verizon Wireless to cast data to Chromecase?

Been using Qwest DSL modem with Belkin router on my iMac for Chromecast to cast data to my HDTV. Going on vacation without the iMac. Going to use my iPad Air with Verizon Wireless instead. Will it cast data to my HDTV?
