Curious if anyone has a solution. I travel on the train a lot and to be able to watch Netflix through the USB sync cable on my Air would be nice. I cannot afford (and frankly wouldn't use it enough to justify the expense) the tethering options with Verizon. So basically it would be great where I connect my iPhone to my Air with the USB cable and watch Netflix on the big screen. I know some may suggest using the component or composite cable but nearly all MacBooks cannot take those kinds of inputs and beyond that, require additional hardware/software which is typically used to record video, not watch.

I would use AirVideo or StreamToMe and watch my own films and tv shows, but since 4.3 hasn't come to the Verizon phones, I cannot Airplay video over to my Air with Erica's Airplayer receiving it. Honestly this has been a big annoyance that ATT gets this feature and we have been waiting nearly two months for. When video Airplay for third party apps comes to the iPhone, then things will be much different and easier, which may not be for a while.

Any thoughts would be great! Thanks.
