Use iSight camera in Final Cut Pro 5.1?

I just bought final cut pro 5.1 instead of using my friend's final cut 4.5.

Everything's fine, but i dont know how to open my iMovie HD Files or use the iSight to make a new one.

Does anybody know?

You can use Quicktime to make a movie with sound using iSight.

Then import that into Final Cut Pro.

Update: Dont need to make videos and when i triy to open a iMovie file it says cannot open the application

Well that to me sounds like you want to make a movie using iSight. And what I said relates to that.

Be a bit more specific. You want iSight to function within Final Cut Pro?

Although I'm not sure how to use your isight in FCP I do know that all you have to do to open iMovie documents in FCP is open FCP and then open the iMovie as a project (apple+o). Hope this helps
