My friend has an itouch and he brings hes 8 gb one to school and uses it for flash drive. Flash drive for games, has hes music and videos. I have an 16gb and I want to use My itouch for a flash drive as well! How can I? I put my i touch in and it DOES NOT show up in 'my computer' please help, thanks!

If Im not mistaken, go into itunes and click on the ipod, then click "Enable disk use". I dont have an ipod but if I remember correctly thats how its done.

As of this moment in time there is no way to do this cleanly, for macs there is a program called iphone drive i think, It allows you to store files on the media partition. However for windows im not to sure if there is a program.

if you just want to store files you can always install AFPd or one of the other AFP apps and then just mount it like a normal shared drive

Please, it's iPod touch! Call it IPOD touch or iPod Touch or ipod touch or ipt or even IPT but please don't call it iTouch!!! lol
