Use MBA 2011 screen for a MBA 2015

So, I have a functioning 2011 MBA 13” and a 2015 MBA 13” with a screen that doesn’t work. I only need one laptop. Before I go and buy a screen assembly for the newer MBA, is it possible to use the older one’s screen assembly as a replacement for the newer one’s? Is this a bad idea?
