Does anyone know how likely it is that the keyboards that will be compatible with the Ipad will also be useable with the Iphone or if this will open the door to the development of keyboards for use with the Iphone? If they're both running on the Iphone operating system, it at least appears to be a possibility.

For myself, I've become used to using the onscreen keyboard in the Iphone for short entries and relatively short emails. However, being able to create somewhat longer emails and documents right on my Iphone with a larger, physical keyboard would be a wonderful enhancement and I can't see using the touch keyboard for that.

Well reports are that the iPad can connect to BT keyboards and I'd rather see that get integrated into the iPhone/iPod OS.

I don' think we'll really know until the iPhone gets 3.2/3.3

this has been asked before several times

please have some patience until the hardware is actually RELEASED

no one can answer your question

It's very likely, as in, it's going to happen
